This handy product is applied onto the base coat, with an acrylic top coat applied there after. Apply water to the top coat and it comes away to reveal the base color underneath. Paint base color Apply the undercoat (metal, rust, primer). Let it dry. 2. Apply Chipping Liquid Brush or airbrush 1 thin coat over the base. Dry 10–20 minutes. 3. Apply top color Paint your main color over it (thin layer). Dry 10–30 minutes. 4. Chip the paint Wet a brush, sponge, or toothpick. Rub gently to remove the top color and reveal the base. 5. Seal (optional) Spray clear coat to protect the effect.
