Rice bran oil has a rich blend of beneficial components including phytosterols, polyphenols, squalene, antioxidants together with vitamins, trace amounts of minerals and proteins. It contains one of the highest amounts of vitamin E and can even act as a natural preservative when blended with other oils. It is a great emollient with softening and moisturizing properties good for dry, sensitive, mature, or aging skin. It is believed to have some ability to hinder UV rays absorption on the skin’s surface.
