Characteristics: Carrots are a nutritious vegetable with a crisp texture. They are conical or cylindrical in shape, with a bright orange-red skin. The flesh is crisp, firm, and delicate, with a unique and sweet flavor. They are rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, and B vitamins. Regular consumption helps maintain good eyesight and boosts immunity.
Planting Method:
Soak the seeds in warm water. Use a 2:3 ratio of warm water to cold water.
Large, thin-shelled seeds (soak for 8-12 hours before sowing): Green beans, peas
Small, thin-shelled seeds (soak for 2-4 hours before sowing): Strawberries, rapeseed, other flowers, tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, lettuce, etc.
Hard-shelled or thick-shelled seeds (soak for 12-15 hours before germination): Melons, watermelons, cantaloupes, Thai melons, okra, pumpkins, spinach, water spinach, etc.
Cucumbers and radishes: Soak for 6-8 hours before germination.
Celery, peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, scallions: Soak for 12 hours before sowing.
Prepare potting soil or coconut coir for sowing. Alternatively, mix soil and fertilizer in a 1:3 ratio (1 part fertilizer: 3 parts soil).
Sow at a depth of approximately 0.5-1 cm and maintain suitable soil moisture.
Place the flowerpot in a location that receives 6-12 hours of sunlight daily (avoid direct sunlight). Transplant the seedlings when they reach 7-10 cm in height and have 2-3 true leaves.
