Acute allergy testing is a blood test used to detect antibodies against specific allergens, such as peanuts, milk, and seafood. Reactions are typically rapid in onset and may present with symptoms such as skin rashes, difficulty breathing, and can potentially be life-threatening. Note: This analysis has limitations in test sensitivity. If allergen levels are extremely low, they may not be detectable. Interpretation of the results should be considered in conjunction with clinical symptoms, patient history, and the physician’s clinical judgment. Pre-Service Guidelines - No need to refrain from food or water before the test. - If you have allergies and are taking immunosuppressants or steroids, it is recommended to discontinue them for 4-6 weeks before the test. However, please consult your prescribing doctor or pharmacist to assess the necessity of stopping the medication, as it depends on the severity of each individual's allergic condition. Service Conditions 1. Test results will be sent via email. 2. Please make an appointment at least 1 day in advance through the chat channel before receiving the service. 3. Please confirm and accept the package before receiving the service. 4. Special promotions and discounts are available at all N Health Lab Center branches. 5.
