[A split-body machine that won an award for excellence]
This is a plastic model assembly kit of a high-performance racer that uses a shaft-driven four-wheel drive. The Mach Frame is a machine that won an award for excellence in the "Mini 4WD Design Contest 2018". The mechanical form made up of many surfaces is impressive. The white ABS resin body incorporates many motorcycle designs, while the overall silhouette is sharply finished like an aircraft. The playful assembly of attaching the three-part exterior parts to the frame parts is also noteworthy. In addition, metallic stickers are provided for the vivid coloring based on blue and red, and the headlights, etc.
[Uses FM-A chassis with front motor layout]
The chassis uses the FM-A with a front motor layout that incorporates an aerodynamic design. Since the center of gravity is closer to the front of the body, it is possible to run with a sense of stability even on courses with many ups and downs. In addition to the skid bar made of low-friction resin that is standard equipment on the lower front, the four rollers are also made of low-friction resin. In particular, the rear roller is an 8mm thick type that has increased stability. Furthermore, the motor can be easily replaced from the bottom of the chassis, allowing for quick setting changes. Various parts can be attached to the aero side stays, which were inspired by the cross-sectional shape of an airplane wing. The chassis itself is made of metallic gray ABS resin, while A-parts such as the underpanel and skid bar are made of black low-friction resin. In addition, small diameter super hard low-profile tires are mounted on the white A-spoke wheels. The gear ratio is set at 3.5:1.
