The set includes decals for all 8 ships as well as UK flags, and the ships would make for an interesting display next to the German Z Class destroyers. Type O destroyers is the name for a class of British WWII destroyers. Units of this type entered service with the Royal Navy in 1941-1942. The total length of the ship of this class was 105 meters and a width of 10.6 meters. The maximum speed was up to 37 knots. On-board armament of O-type destroyers, the so-called Series I consisted of 4 120mm guns, a single 102mm gun, 4 20mm cannons and 4 533mm torpedo tubes. In total, 8 units of this class were created. They were designed to bridge the gap between large destroyers (such as the Tribal class) and escort destroyers of the Hunt class. Generally, they are considered successful ships. After 1945, some of them remained in the Royal Navy, three were transferred to Pakistan, and one to Turkey.
