DIY aromatherapy candle:
Prepare materials:
Beeswax/soywax/paraffin, wax pot, wax outer pot, glass stirring rod, small induction cooker, thermometer, electronic scale, essential oil, cotton thread, candle container, chopsticks, dried flowers.
Production Method:
(1) Fill the outer pot with one-third of the water, put it on a large fire like an induction cooker and heat it to boiling, then turn to a low fire (turning to a low fire is to prevent water from splashing into the wax). Put the soy wax into the inner pot after preheating, the soy wax will slowly dissolve, do not over-stirring during dissolution.
(2) While waiting for the wax liquid to cool, pass the cotton wick through the small hole at the bottom of the candle container, and use a clamp or chopsticks to clamp the wax wick at the mouth of the container to avoid slipping.
(3) When the wax liquid cools to about 40°C, drop the essential oil that you like into the wax liquid, and stir evenly with a glass rod. The ratio is controlled at about 5% to have a fragrance (For example, 100ml of wax liquid, add 5-6 drops of essential oil).
(4) Pour into a clean candle container after stirring, try not to fill it too much.
(5) According to personal preference, when the sides of the container become white, they can be decorated with dried flowers.
(6)After the wax dries, you can repair the wax core, which is generally about 1cm higher than the surface of the wax liquid.
