IceMaster G40 with 4 Submersible Pumps – Glycol Chiller – Digital Fermentation Control Compact multi-fermenter chilling solution which offers high performance for homebrewers and small volume breweries. This glycol chiller / ice bank comes as standard with 4 built-in submersible pumps each with independent digital controllers allowing the optimum fermentation or cold crash temperature to be set for up to four fermenters or brite tanks. This chiller is ideal for temperature control of vessels which have a thick insulated jacket. It is powerful enough to chill 4 well-insulated 60L FermZilla All Rounders or 58L Kegmenters with Temp Twisters. It has a cooling capacity of about 780W or 1HP making it suitable for crash chilling even in hot ambient temperatures in your garage or brewery. This will allow you to cool up to four fermenters at the same time at different set temperatures. Set the temp on the main reservoir to -4C then (after you have added 20% glycol) then on the other side of the G40 set the other four temperatures to your ideal fermentation temperatures. Australia is a hot country and in many instances, heating is not necessary but cooling is essential. Larger and well-insulated fermenters, in particular, will often generate enough heat to heat the fermenter which is why large commercial breweries often have no heating. They rely on yeast activity to heat the fermentation tank. The G40 can be used to cool a range of different fermentation vessels when used with products such as the Temp Twister. Heating The KegLand G40 IceMaster glycol chiller can also be set up to provide dual cooling/heating control. The temperature controllers include heating terminals allowing the wiring of a heating device into the temperature controller. This allows the required temperature of the vessel to be set on the digital controller which will then automatically turn on or off the pump or heating device as required to maintain the optimum temperature.
